"In the poor and outcast we see Christ's face; by loving and helping the poor, we love and serve Christ." — Pope Francis
The Live Christ Share Christ (LCSC) is our response to the call to New Evangelization. It is the goal of LCSC to bring nominal Catholics back to active involvement in the Church, and to start to deepen the faith of everyone in the parish. The entry point is a Life in Christ Retreat/Seminar (LCS) which helps bring Catholics to transformation in Christ, with a continuing personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Living in the Mercy of God
Year of Mercy
Just a reminder that the Year of Mercy began on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and will continue until November 22, 2016.
Throughout the year, there will be various local events, opportunities, and activities in which one can receive an indulgence or experience God’s Mercy in a direct manner. Last December 12, 2015, Bishop Murphy opened the year with Mass at 5:00 PM at St. Agnes Cathedral. As part of that celebration, he opened the cathedral’s Holy Door of Mercy. In addition to the Cathedral, three other locations in the diocese have been designated to have Holy Doors of Mercy; the Basilica of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton; the Shrine of our Lady of the Island in Eastport; and the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington. Please check here for other events throughout the year.
Finally, just as a reminder, the priests at Blessed Sacrament will be hearing Confessions Monday through Friday from 6:00 – 6:30 PM throughout the year. Come and experience God’s Mercy in this wonderful sacrament.
